Sportsoho is proud to present the "Tour de 1000 KM" Team eCycling Challenge at Sportfest Hong Kong 2026! This thrilling event brings together Hong Kong’s elite eCycling teams to push their boundaries and conquer an ultimate 1000 km endurance challenge.
The challenge is title-sponsored by France's high-performance road cycling brand, Van Rysel, which offers a spectacular lineup of prizes for the winners! Since its launch, the brand has been dedicated to providing international race-grade, innovative equipment for road cyclists, gravel riders, and triathletes.
To guarantee a professional, fair, and safe competition environment, the organiser has equipped the event with WATTBIKE indoor bikes—globally recognised as the pinnacle of indoor cycling performance.

*Participants must arrive at the assembly point for check-in 30 minutes prior to the start of the session. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.
^ A time deduction of 45 seconds will be applied to the team's total time for each lap completed by a female team member. There is no limit on the number of time deductions. However, each female member must participate in the race for at least one day.
#Free admission is available for children aged 12 or below, seniors aged 60 or above, and individuals with disabilities. Complimentary admission tickets can be collected directly at the on-site ticketing counter.
Race Format
Participating teams must complete a cumulative 1000 km cycling challenge in the shortest total time over the span of three days. This race demands the highest levels of endurance, strategic planning, and teamwork. The progressive daily mileage is specifically designed to test each team's adaptability and stamina throughout the tournament.

Rules & Regulations
- The race takes place over 3 days. Teams must complete the designated distance for each racing day. The team that completes the distance in the fastest time wins.
- The entire race must be completed as a relay by the 10 team members, with unlimited substitutions.
- The entire challenge must be completed within the designated hours. The race will terminate at the end of the time limit even if some teams have not finished. Unfinished teams will be ranked based on their completed distance.
- Participants must arrive on-site and complete registration within their assigned time slots. Teams must report to the racing zone 15 minutes before the start of the race; otherwise, the participant and their team (where applicable) will be disqualified without further arrangements.
- All participants, along with their parents or legal guardians (if applicable), must sign and submit the "Participant Confirmation Form" prior to the race. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any team failing to comply.
- Team members must compete wearing matching tops of identical color and style.
- Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings. The Organizer accepts no liability for any loss or damage.
- Participants must strictly adhere to the official tournament regulations and respect all decisions made by the event referees.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend the race format and regulations at any time without prior notice.
Equipment & Specifications
To ensure absolute fairness and participant safety, all racing equipment will be uniformly provided and pre-calibrated by the Organizer.
WATTBIKE Indoor Smart Bikes: The cycling segments feature WATTBIKE indoor smart bikes, delivering precise real-time data on power output, speed, and distance to guarantee accurate tracking and fair competition.
- All races will utilize standard smart indoor trainers provided by the Organizer.
- No age restrictions apply, but participants must meet the minimum height requirement of 147 cm.

Important Notes
Registration
- Participants must read the following notes carefully. Once the registration application is submitted, it indicates that the participant confirms and agrees to accept all rules, terms, and arrangements of the activity.
- Participants understand and agree that participation in this activity is voluntary. Participants must understand the risks involved and the physical exertion required for this activity and should confirm their physical condition is suitable for cycling before registering. Anyone who is pregnant or suffering from chronic diseases such as heart disease and high blood pressure is not advised to register for this activity.
- The Organizer, sponsors, and other relevant co-organizers shall not be liable for any property loss, injury, or death sustained by participants while traveling to/from the venue or during the competition.
- I hereby grant permission to the Organizer and media to use my portrait, name, voice, and personal data for event promotional purposes without further review or compensation.
- Once an application is accepted, registration fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. A confirmation email will be sent within three working days upon receiving the application. If you do not receive it within this timeframe, please contact the Organizer via email at [email protected] or by phone at (852) 2117 1650.
- Duplicate registrations for the same session will be treated as a single entry. Excess fees will not be refunded or transferred to other applicants or categories.
- Walk-in or late registrations will not be accepted.
Event Information
- Event details and admission logistics will be sent to participants via email one week prior to the event.
- Participants must present either a printed copy or the digital version of the notification email at the registration counter upon arrival.
Health & Safety Tips
- Participants must ensure they are physically fit for strenuous activity. If in doubt, please seek professional medical advice before registering.
- Participants must clearly understand that this high-intensity physical event requires substantial physical exertion. The Organizer strongly advises participants to monitor their physical condition closely during the event. If you feel unwell at any point, please stop immediately and seek assistance from on-site staff.
- The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant deemed or suspected to be physically unfit to continue.
- Public liability insurance has been purchased for this event. However, participants are highly encouraged to arrange their own personal accident insurance.
Severe Weather Arrangements
Two Days Prior to the Event (19 August 2026):
If a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted at or after 4:00 PM, the entire "Tour de 1000 KM" Team eCycling Challenge scheduled for 21 – 23 August 2026 will be canceled.
On the Day of the Event (21 – 23 August 2026):
If a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted at or after 6:00 AM, the event scheduled for that specific day will be canceled.
- Registration fees are non-refundable if the event is canceled due to the weather warnings mentioned above.
- If severe weather conditions or the aforementioned warnings occur while the event is underway, the Organizer reserves the right to alter or cancel ongoing activities. Registration fees remain non-refundable.
- Participants are advised to check local weather conditions on the morning of the event via the Hong Kong Observatory (Tel: 1878200).

Others
- Participants are willing to authorize the Organizer to use their image, name, voice, and personal data for event promotion purposes without prior review by the participant.
- For any inquiries or assistance during the event, please visit our Information Counter to speak with a staff member.
- All prizes and souvenirs cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The Organizer reserves all rights to amend and interpret the terms and rules stated above.
- In the event of any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions of these terms, the Chinese version shall prevail.
